One of the best anime I've seen this year in regards to production values, emotional dialogue and general voice acting and style. I've converted the ending videos of the two main love stories onto my PSP and got the theme tune too. I have to say I nearly cried at one point, this was how good this anime was. You will be hoping the main couples will get together and the ending is great. I look forward to ef a tale of melodies.

Another romance, comedy drama anime which was short (only 12 episodes) the main guy is likeable an so are the girls he interacts with, although it is a bit random (especially episode 8/random fan service) also the random people wearing horse masks is a bit disturbing o_O The series does have quite a few dark undertones with the evil village elder and suicide, suffering issues and if you don't watch the credits its very sad, however the ending is adorable with everyone grown up and a happy ending between the main guy and the heroine although with supernatural elements.

Library War is a short series at 13 episodes long but its based on a short japanese novel and manga. The story is a bit odd at first (Library has like a private army to protect books from protective japanese government censorship group) but the characters and progression of story between the main two characters is great. Iku Kasahara (the girl in white holding the book) is a funny but heartwarming character who is very emotional, her interaction with Atsushi Dojo (the guy on the right touching his wrist) is very funny. The opening and ending theme music is also very good. I hope there is a 2nd series for this 2008 anime. I would also like to say that Iku Kasahara japanese voice actor is very good in how she speaks to portray emotion in the character.

Tokimeki Memorial Only Love is based upon a popular dating simulation game by Konami in Japan and this show is based upon the online version of the game which finished in 2007. This series was 25 I think episodes long with one guy called Aoba who has romantic engagements with 3 girls in mostly funny situations. I would say its 50% comedy, 45% drama, 5% romance. The ending was kind of wierd but expected although a bit strange in what you would think "romantic" is however the piano/classical music in this series was so GOOD, it really showed the emotion behind characters, I would say the series didn't start getting quite serious until episode 21 onwards but it was a good watch.

So I finished my work for the CASE Europe Annaul Conference 08 in Brighton at the Hilton Hotel yesterday. Basically it was mainly manual labour with leaflet drops in rooms, before the main talks begin in the room, preparing books for a literature exchange and guiding, helping delegates who got lost in the building.

Got paid £8 ph and perks included free hitlon lunch, breakfast and some freebies from the exhibition (I have lots of free rock candy and pens now, even a few USB flash memory drives.

I might work for them again in 09 but the location would be in Liverpool but see how it goes. Will apply for more work at GAME during Christmas period.

Hope everyone is doing well, especially the young fellowship church members, hope to see you all soon.

    "Over And Over"

I feel it everyday it's all the same
It brings me down but I'm the one to blame
I've tried everything to get away
    So here I go again
    Chasing you down again
    Why do I do this?

Over and over, over and over
    I fall for you
Over and over, over and over
    I try not to

It feels like everyday stays the same
It's dragging me down and I can't pull away
    So here I go again
    Chasing you down again
    Why do I do this?

Over and over, over and over
    I fall for you
Over and over, over and over
    I try not to
Over and over, over and over
You make me fall for you
Over and over, over and over
    You don't even try

So many thoughts that I can't get out of my head
I try to live without you, every time I do I feel dead
I know what's best for me
    But I want you instead
I'll keep on wasting all my time

Over and over, over and over
    I fall for you
Over and over, over and over
    I try not to
Over and over, over and over
You make me fall for you
Over and over, over and over
    You don't even try to

  • FullMetalPanic1

So I finished watching the Full Metal Panic! anime series including Full Metal Panic!, Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid and the OVA

Great series with emotional characters and strong central plot plus some cool robots called Arm Slaves.

The relationship between Sousuke Sagara and Kaname Chidori is touching whilst at the same time highly amusing to watch on screen at the same time.

Also saw the Forbidden Kingdom with Jet Li and Jackie Chan. Its a ok film which you watch mainly for the fight scenes. Entertaining summer film I guess.

Also finally saw the Day After Tommorow on Film4 last night. Cool special effects, shame about the plot though.
